Gallery Florida

Florida is more than a retirement home and spring break destination. There's also a lot of nature to discover in Florida. For example, there are more bird species in winter and early spring than in summer. Not only the retired but also the feathered like to spend the winter in the Sunshine State.

In February and March 2003 I've visited Florida, mainly to photograph birds and other animals. The highlights were Everglades National Park, Merrit Island, Corkscrew Swamp, Sanibel Island and other birding hotspots.
