The Sony Alpha 70-400/4-5.6 G SSM is now official, sort of

There are few surprises, because the base data already came out of the rumor mill earlier. The biggest news may be that this lens is compatible with the Sony Alpha and Minolta AF teleconverters, although with manual focus only (the aperture with the TCs mounted is just too small for reliable AF).
Tech data can be found here. Of course, there's no information about price or availability in the user manual.
